Grounded to the fact of reality, TDBC has sought to avoid the narrowly conceived structure of conventional education, preferring instead to bring allied and applied disciplines within the broad spectrum of its academic wing, under whose ambit of supervision pupils can opt any subjects of their own choice. There are also Special Centres that are outside even this broad structures, called Jionkathi, that extends the teaching-learning process among primary school children.
