SCHOLAS' COLLOQUIUM

Formation of Scholars' Colloquium:
With the noble objective of fostering a vibrant academic culture within the institution, the Scholars' Colloquium was conceived in the visionary mind of our Honourable Principal Prof. (Dr.) Sanjeev Pandey. Envisaged as a platform for intellectual exchange and interdisciplinary dialogue, the Colloquium was formally inaugurated and established in the institution on the auspicious occasion of World Environment Day, 2026. The Principal envisioned this dynamic forum as an Academic Cub, where faculty members and students could engage in meaningful intellectual exchange, transcending the traditional boundaries of classroom learning.

With such vision, the Scholars' Colloquium was established to promote academic discourse, critical thinking, and the dissemination of knowledge across diverse disciplines. The Club serves as a common hub for members of both the Science and Humanities streams, encouraging the exchange of ideas, perspectives, and research findings. It aims to bridge disciplinary boundaries and cultivate a spirit of collaborative learning among the academic community.

The Club regularly organizes seminars, lectures, workshops, panel discussions, and awareness programmes on contemporary issues, emerging research areas, and topics of social relevance. Through these activities, the Club seeks to enhance the intellectual curiosity of students, broaden their horizons, and develop their communication and analytical skills. At the same time, it provides faculty members with opportunities to share their expertise, present scholarly work, and engage in constructive academic interactions.

Since its inception, the Academic Club has played a significant role in creating general awareness on educational, scientific, cultural, environmental, and societal issues. It continues to uphold the vision of our Honourable Principal by nurturing an environment of academic excellence, lifelong learning, and interdisciplinary cooperation, thereby contributing to the holistic development of the college community.
